About the Role:
As Head of Business Controlling at Icomera you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial health of Icomera. In this role you will be analysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. You will lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
You will monitor and control operational expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements. You will ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. In this role you will also provide financial insights and support to senior management for strategic decision-making. You will be fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. This role reports to the CFO, and you will be managing a team of three regional financial controllers.

Location and work dynamics:
The position is based in our Gothenburg office at Odinsgatan 28 in central Gothenburg, a few minutes’ walk from the central station. At Icomera, we apply a hybrid work environment with most working hours at the office.

Key Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business objectives.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the company meets its financial goals.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management, providing insights and recommendations.
Identify financial risks and opportunities, suggesting actionable strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and business growth.
Assess, implement, and improve financial tools.

Required Competence:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Experienced leader.
