About the Role:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring financial activities under your responsibility are kept up to date, providing the business with accurate and timely information to support critical decision-making.
The main responsibilities of this role include maintaining up-to-date bank account records, managing the entire Accounts Payable process from invoice handling to payment, and overseeing Accounts Receivable, from generating invoices to ensuring timely customer payments.

Location and work dynamics:
The position is based in our Gothenburg office at Odinsgatan 28 in central Gothenburg, a few minutes’ walk from the central station. At Icomera, we apply a hybrid work environment with the majority of working hours at the office.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily recording of bank transactions.
• Transfer all Vendor invoices to Kofax and process through ERP system, following the progress through to payment of the invoice and support with any resolution as required.
• Follow up any absence of Goods receipt on PO’s where an invoice has been received.
• Produce a weekly proposed payment run of Vendor invoices.
• Support in month end and year end tasks as required.
• Regular recording of any Credit Card transactions.
• Regular recording of Staff expense reimbursements.
• Support with raising Customer invoices as required.
• Contact Customers to ensure timely payment of invoices and support in resolution of any queries raised.

Required Competence:

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both within the organization and externally.
• Good at multitasking and managing processes in a fluid business-driven environment.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of key accounting principles.
