What is the opportunity? As Global Lean Program Manager at Arjo, your mission is to propel our supply chain toward excellence. You’ll leverage your expertise in lean methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, and results-driven strategies to optimize processes across our R&D, Manufacturing and four distribution centers. You will be reporting to the VP Supply Chain Development & Finance. Whether you’re based in Poznan, Poland or Malmö, Sweden, your impact will resonate globally.

As the Global Lean Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
Lean Implementation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and eliminate waste: Lead lean initiatives across the supply chain, focusing on process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency gains;
  • Standardize processes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize practices across our global manufacturing sites;
  • Drive measurable improvements: Apply lean principles such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Global Impact and Industry Expertise:
  • Collaborate across borders: Work closely with teams in different regions, sharing best practices and aligning strategies;
  • Leverage med-tech or automotive experience: Apply industry-specific knowledge to address challenges unique to Arjo’s product portfolio.
Lean Implementation in Administration and Non-Production Roles:
  • Streamline administrative processes: Extend lean principles beyond production lines. Optimize procurement, inventory management, and documentation workflows;
  • Enhance cross-functional collaboration: Engage with finance, HR, and legal teams to ensure lean practices permeate all aspects of Arjo’s operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate seamlessly: Engage with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams;
  • Build strong relationships: Foster collaboration to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
Influence and Results:
  • Champion lean thinking: Advocate for lean practices at all organizational levels;
  • Demonstrate value: Influence stakeholders, promote buy-in, and showcase tangible results through KPI tracking.
Key Improvements and Impact Areas:
  • Supply Chain Efficiency: Streamline material flow, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain responsiveness;
  • Quality Enhancement: Implement lean tools to improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction;
  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities through lean practices, inventory management, and waste reduction;
  • Operational Resilience: Develop robust processes to mitigate risks and ensure continuity across manufacturing sites.

About you:
  • You are guided by the strong desire to begin a challenging and rewarding career within the Medtech industry;

What you will need to be successful in this position:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in supply chain organization, with a focus on lean methodologiesl;
  • Proven success in implementing lean initiatives and driving measurable improvements;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Deep knowledge of modern ways to enhance efficiency, productivity, product quality with a strong mindset of profitability and agility management;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights;
  • Ability to act both strategically and tactically/operationally;
  • Ability to conceptualize and inspire the team to reach, “what great looks like”;
  • Capability to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
