Are you our new Health and Safety Manager to our plant in Billingsfors?

The role includes coordination responsibility for the systematic work environment process throughout the plant and provide support to our managers and leaders. As the Health and Safety manager you implement and follow up the implementation of policies, strategies and action plans related to safety, security and fire protection. Further contact with relevant authorities and external stakeholders is part of the role.
The role also includes active participation in our Regional HSE calls every month.
You will be part of the management team in Billingsfors but report to Health and Safety Manager Ahlstrom Sweden.

Your key responsibilities:

Report incidents and accidents internally and monthly to Group HSE.
Developing and executing health and safety strategies and action plans according to legal guidelines and group requirements.

Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a solid safety culture in the plant.
Responsible for coordinating internal training within health and safety for all our employees.

Evaluating safety standard operating procedures and assess risks.
Be a support during risk assessments initiated by responsible manager.
Define the plants KPI:s and action plans in collaboration with Health and Safety Manager Ahlstrom Sweden.
Ensure that work environment plans are established and implemented and that contractors receive safety information during maintenance stop and other projects.

You need the following competencies and experience:

Relevant academic education.
Broad knowledge and experience within safety, security and fire protection.
A proactive, responsible and ethical way of working.
Ability to build relationships, delegate tasks and collaborate on all levels.
Knowledge in project management.
Good communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
