Could you be our future RAM engineer intern in Stockholm, Sweden?

Time of the mission:

• Mission duration: 3 months
• Expected start date: October/November 2024

We'll look to you for:
You will join the Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) product line as an Internship in RAM Engineering and will be part of the Alstom D&IS RAM team in the Nordics region. You will contribute to the design and the improvement of the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability performance of the new Alstom modern railway signaling solutions to be used in mainlines applications.

Your objective is to implement robust RAM approaches and to continuously support the Reliability Growth on the railway signalling projects in the Nordics from Sweden in all life cycle phases of our systems and projects (tender, projects and system/product design and monitoring phases). You will use both predictions and the feedback data from the field and will be responsible for:

• Acting as a liaison between the various key stakeholders (Project Manager, RAM Community, Engineering teams, Maintenance and services, Customers, etc.) to address all the requirements and treat the inputs to drive the key RAM performance metrics
• Applying the RAM Monitoring & Reliability Growth process to issue the monthly operational reliability performance reports
• Supporting the failure root cause investigations and participating to the failure review meetings
• Applying design for RAM approaches to improve products and projects RAM attributes
• Taking personal accountability for the issue of the deliverables and the committed timelines
• Reporting regularly to the identified key stakeholders on the progress of your work and results obtained

• Engineering student with Coursework or certificate in Reliability/Dependability or relevant experiences.
• Interest in the railway sector.
• Organized, flexible, rigorous, team player and proactive behavior.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Swedish is an added value.
