Junior BI Developer - Quicksight Specialist

Scope: 60 % (part-time position)
Length: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Remote or on-site in Sollentuna (must be in Sweden)
We have just launched a project where we migrate from Qlik Sense to AWS Quick Sight and for this we need a BI developer with good understanding of BI and specifically of AWS Quick Sight. Since we are still in the ramp up phase, we require a Junior BI Developer for 2 - 3 days per week, starting beginning of next year.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Junior BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our business intelligence (BI) solutions, with a focus on Amazon Quicksight. Your key responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing interactive Quicksight dashboards and reports to visualize complex data

Integrating Quicksight with various data sources and building robust data models

Automating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data integrity

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions

Optimizing Quicksight performance and troubleshooting any technical issues
Qualifications and Skills:

Qualification in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field

Several years of experience in BI development, preferably with a focus on Quicksight

Proficient in using Quicksight for data visualization, dashboard creation, and reporting

Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation

Familiarity with data modeling and dimensional design principles

Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
-
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities
-
Passion for data-driven decision-making and a desire to continuously learn and grow
