Aurobay is seeking an OBD Architect for Engine Controls & Diagnostics. Join our ambitious international team and collaborate closely with architects, calibration leaders, project managers, and function developers. Work with cutting-edge propulsion technologies, ensuring monitors meet legal and market requirements. This position includes traveling worldwide.

Skills and Experience

• University degree in engineering or physics, with around 10 years of OBD experience, including diagnostics and legislation.
• Experience leading projects in an international setting is a merit.
• Solid understanding of powertrain design, including areas such as combustion, emissions, air charge estimation, thermal management, certification, applied mathematics, and control system theory.
• Skilled in structured planning, conducting, summarizing, and reporting work thoroughly.
• Analytical and hands-on, with a drive for advancing technology.
• Excellent communication and networking skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.
• Fluent in English
• Holds a Swedish driving license (B).

Your role at Aurobay
As an OBD-Architect at Engine Controls & Diagnostics you will:

• Develop future monitor strategies and discuss technical solutions within the OBD department.
• Manage tasks covering the entire product lifecycle, from new legal requirements to product launch and customer demands.
• Work with Aurobay's product range, including ICE engines, range extenders, and EDUs.
• Mentor OBD development teams, as well as verification and certification engineers.
