About the role
Are you an organised, proactive specialist who thrives on keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for an Office Manager to take charge of our daily operations and make our office a welcoming, efficient, and well-maintained space for everyone. This is a part-time position requiring 50% of a full-time work schedule.
As our Office Manager, you will be the key point of contact for all office-related matters. With strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you’ll ensure a positive, productive environment where employees can thrive.
What you will be doing:
- Greeting and assisting employees and visitors, making sure everyone feels welcome and supported.
- Point of contact for all office supplies, keeping track of inventory, office supply procurement and ensuring everything is well-stocked.
- Oversee office maintenance, including coordinating cleaning service and repairs.
- Managing lunch and fika arrangements, ensuring a pleasant environment for breaks.
- Running errands and taking care of minor tasks and helping keep the office in good condition.
- Helping with events, from making creative proposals to assisting with logistics for office activities and celebrations.
- Organising post and deliveries, ensuring everything gets to the right place in a timely manner.
- Managing office security, including alarms, fire drills, and ordering additional training like CPR and safety measures.
- Showing new employees around the office and the entire building, making sure they feel at home.
- Maintaining the office handbook on our intranet, updating internal databases. syncing with HR to keep all office-related updates in order.
- Supporting ergonomics efforts to ensure a healthy and comfortable workspace for employees.
- A people-person who enjoys greeting and helping others.
- Ability to build good relationships and enjoy working in a social role.
- Organised with an eye for detail, making sure the office is always tidy and functional.
- A proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
- Someone with an interest in office safety and ergonomics, helping to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for all.
