Job Brief
We are seeking a driven candidate who wants to contribute to our piping design work across various technologies and projects. Primary responsibilities will include piping and P&ID work, plant/piping layout design, 3D design of piping and equipment, piping specifications, creating design illustrations, and some vendor interactions. In addition to being an expert in piping, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of our engineering tools, particularly Aveva E3D.
Summary of the Main Responsibilities

• Piping engineering work during basic and detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of new plants.
• Participate in creating standards for using Aveva E3D as the main design tool in projects.
• Assist in the setup and development of the integration between our engineering tools (COMOS and E3D).
• Contribute to defining piping design specifications.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with standards, contracts, and legal requirements.
• Create design illustrations using Lumion.

While most of the work will be based in Gothenburg, future responsibilities may involve both national and international travel to our offices, as well as brief assignments at project sites during plant start-ups. Currently, this travel is expected to include destinations within northern Europe.

Requirements

• You are driven and can work with structure, both independently and in a cross-functional team
• Good Knowledge in Aveva E3D.
• Good knowledge of piping engineering and knowledge of related disciplines
• You are a team player, but you are also capable of working and come to results on your own.
• Physically capable of field work and site walk in an operating chemical plant that handles hazardous chemicals
• Can document the development process progress in an organized manner
• Can handle confidential information

Education & Experience Requirements
Higher level of education within piping Engineering
At least 1 years of relevant experience in an engineering environment. Good if you have experience from either chemical, petrochemical, pulp & paper or the mining industries.
Good knowledge of using MS Office package
Good knowledge of Aveva E3D.
It is of benefit if you have experience of:

• Design work by engineering tool systems such as Comos or similar.
• Market vendor contacts of pipe and valves.
• Site supervision, field work and installation

Fluent English skills (requirement)
