Within TIS, Business Unit Trelleborg Engineered Coated Fabrics (ECF) is a leading producer of specialty polymer-coated and calendared materials. About the Job

As our new Product Manager or as we call it Solution Manager you will have many exciting, developing and sometimes ambitious tasks. You will take part in the whole product process from research, product development to providing technical support to our sales organization.
You will develop new formulations, constructions, methods etc. in close collaboration with suppliers, customers, and process engineering team to meet our customers’ expectations.
Part of your job will be to work closely with the sales organization, maintain close relationship with our customers and to build a deep understanding for the final applications to deliver the right solution for the customer.
You will have an active part in our sustainability program developing our products and solutions for the future.
You will build and implement methods of problem-solving.
You will develop and improve our ERP system processes for product development and product care.
And you will maintain our current product portfolio together with your colleagues.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a new colleague that takes initiative, is proactive and driven. You enjoy working independently as well as together with others as you will run projects and have a lot of contact with different parts of the organization such as lab, production etc.

We believe you:

• Have a Bachelor or Masters of Science degree from a suitable scientific field
• Experience from project management and product development
• Good communication and networking skills
• A desire and willingness to take on responsibility and deliver upon defined targets with a lasting impact
• An interest to understand business drivers and making own impact
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• Strong skills in MS Office and other communication tools/software
• Skills in SAP would be great but not mandatory
