The role
We are searching for a R&D Manager for our B2B segment. You will be responsible for the development of all our heat pump solutions for the large property complexes and entire residential blocks in our portfolio. You will lead the design & development of all B2B products and together with multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers you will be driving projects from concept to commercialization. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions.
Main tasks
Developing and executing a R&D strategies aligned with Qvantums’s vision and market demands in close collaboration with other teams such as sales, software development and system verification.
Leading, managing and developing the R&D team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Mentoring and developing team members, promoting professional and personal growth.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, project management and manufacturing.
Overseeing the design, prototyping, testing, and optimization of the heat pump.
Manage project resources and timelines effectively.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Building up and managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets to maintain a competitive advantage.

We believe that you have
Master’s degree in engineering or Ph.D. (Mechanical, Electrical, Applied Physics or related field);
5+ years of experience in R&D management, specifically in HVAC or heat pump technology.
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
Proven track record of successful product development from concept to market.
Supportive leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Passion for sustainable energy solutions and innovative technologies.
Good knowledge of English, both written and oral
