At Ericsson Group Sourcing, we are dedicated to reducing supply chain emissions through proactive supplier engagement. Our goal is for 350 high-emission suppliers to set emission reduction targets aligned with the 1.5°C climate ambition by 2025, aiming for a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030.
If you are passionate about climate action, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology? We’re looking for a motivated part-time student with engineering and/or business expertise to support our climate action program. You'll help update responsible sourcing information shared internally and externally while engaging suppliers to meet impactful emissions reduction targets.
What You Will Do
- Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with high-emission suppliers to align their climate goals with our 2030 targets.
- Data Management: Analyze sustainability data using internal tools to ensure compliance.
- Research & Innovation: Investigate industry best practices to drive innovation in sustainability efforts.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure a cohesive approach to supplier engagement.
- Communication Updates: Work with content owners to improve internal and external communication channels.
The Skills You Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in climate action and corporate social responsibility.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Eagerness to explore new technologies and processes to improve communication, streamline work, and automate assessments.
