The Scandinavian underground segment is facing high activity with several tunneling projects in Sweden and Norway. Swedish mining sector is continuously growing with several new projects in the horizon forming a great potential for Normet to deliver value to our customers.
Normet is now seeking a dedicated person with high ambition to take the next career step as a Sales Manager in Scandinavia. The preferred location of the position is Vallentuna (near Stockholm) in Sweden (negotiable).
In your new role, you are responsible for:
  • Sales promotion of Normet products with product presentations as part of the daily work
  • Own sales pipeline forecasting
  • Customer relationships management also by getting new customers into customer base
  • Cooperation with the other Normet functions; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales projects
  • Market observation and determination the customer needs in order to support them in a solution-oriented manner
  • Customer appointments with regular customer site visit
  • Mapping, and visiting trade fairs and customer events.
What does your job include?
  • About 3 to 4 days a week you will travel and advise your existing customers
  • You will also continuously expand your customer network by acquiring new customers
  • You observe what is going on the market and determine the needs of customers in order to support them in a solution-oriented manner
  • You will spend the rest of the time working from your home office, coordinating your appointments, preparing offers and taking care of administrative tasks. You will be supported by your colleagues in sales support, in product line, and in services.
  • Product presentations are a part of your responsibility, as well as visiting trade fairs and customer events.
  • In this role you will report to the Director, Nordics and Europe.

We are looking for someone who excels in a dynamic, flexible work environment, can prioritize effectively, and enjoys visiting customers, solving customer needs, and manages a variety of different sales opportunities simultaneously. It is important that you share our values and see yourself as part of our team. You have a positive and motivated attitude towards change, proactive manners to identify business opportunities and independent grip on your own actions to execute daily tasks.
  • You already have experience in B2B sales field or have always wanted to advise customers.
  • You are fluent in Swedish you will also have at least some knowledge of English.
  • Being familiar with tunnel construction and/or special civil engineering is an advantage.
