Senior Legal Compliance and Regulatory Counsel

We are now looking for an experienced legal professional to take on comprehensive responsibility for our regulatory compliance towards European and domestic regulations affecting the company's products and services. The role will entail both advisory and auditing components. You will be part of the Medical Quality and Compliance team reporting to the Chief Medical Officer. The team serves the full company with expertise in regulations, medical safety, data security and quality. You will serve a critical function in bringing our products to a broader European market and will help shape an emerging area of law that impacts the health of millions of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring day-to-day compliance with applicable medico-legal frameworks
- Assisting Management with understanding legal issues of strategic importance
- Surveillance of legal developments at the Swedish and European levels, as well as interfacing with legal consultants in additional markets
- Providing guidance to our Product team on the regulatory impact of new initiatives
- Previous experience with regulations in the healthcare sector, medical devices, or health data.
- Independence, willingness to make close calls and assessments with limited precedence
- Strong intuition and sound judgment
- Excellent ability to communicate legal concepts, including to non-lawyers, in written and oral presentations
- Language skills: Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement
