About the job
In this role, you lead the strategical purchasing activities in the areas of Professional Services, HR & Communications according to our procurement guidelines and metrics. You work closely with stakeholders and business functions – both within our organization and in the broader SMS (Sandvik Machining Solutions) business area – to identify, lead and manage sourcing cases and develop and maintain category strategies.

Further responsibilities include:
Leading and managing sourcing projects and negotiating contracts.
Creating and following implementation of contracts.
Establishing relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Measuring supplier performance.
Supporting issue resolution.
Being accountable for master data, with supplier and price information considered.
Leading and participating in Supplier Relationship Management activities with strategic suppliers.

You’re preferably located in Fagersta, Sweden, while other locations can be considered. We offer you a hybrid work setup, allowing you to combine remote and office work. Some travel may occur.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with extensive knowledge in different sourcing models such as managed services within the consultancy area, HR, and communication. You have great business acumen, proven negotiation skills, legal understanding of contracts and a passion for purchasing. A relevant degree, preferably a master’s, in either business, economy or a similar line of education or equivalent practical experience working in a similar role is expected. Since we act in a truly international environment, you need experience from working in a global organization and are proficient in both English and Swedish, in written and verbal form.
We put a lot of emphasis on your personality, especially on your social skills! You have high agency and prominent interpersonal as well as communication skills. Complementing this is your agility and drive for results and willingness to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
