The Role
UX Research at EPG focuses on fueling a customer-centric approach throughout our product development. We seek to deeply understand the needs and experiences of our users, and we support design and product in their quest for insights. We thus play an important role towards our mission to ‘Make cities more liveable’.
You’ll be part of a small and agile team that works across product spaces. In particular, your work will focus on cities and parking operators, supporting product teams driving innovation in the space of parking management.
Please note that this is a 1-year contract to support the team during a parental leave.
You will contribute & make an impact through:

• Conducting qualitative research using a variety of methods
  
• Triangulating research findings with other data sources from within the company to build holistic insights to influence decisions and strategies
  
• Partnering with designers and product managers to translate findings into ideas and actions
  
• Consulting with product teams to understand research needs and create tactical research roadmaps
  
• Guiding product managers and designer in research efforts and identify strategic opportunities for research
  

About you

• Solid experience in designing and conducting qualitative research studies using a variety of methods (such as interviews, diary studies, online usability tests, focus groups)
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights in an engaging way to both product teams and product leadership
  
• Experience balancing multiple concurring research projects focused on creating output and impact
  
• Experience creating frameworks, personas and archetypes as means to communicate insights
  

Your background
We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

• University degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology or related field
  
• Minimum of 4 years working as UX/user/design researcher
  
• Strong understanding of product development process and how research fits into the process
  
• Fluency in English is required for this position, however Swedish is not needed.
  

This role is based in Stockholm.
