As a Virtualization Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain the Virtualization infrastructure of our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our Virtualization Platform. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing performance, enhancing security, and resolving any technical issues that may arise. Additionally, you will play a key role in planning and executing Virtualization related projects, ensuring scalability and reliability to support business operations.

Main responsibilities:
Assess and analyze existing infrastructure systems.
Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Ensure that our Virtualization Environment is compliant with Industry Best Practices and with Company Policies.

Competencies & skills:
A deep understanding of networking principles, Windows Server administration (Active Directory etc), Virtualization (VMWare v Sphere & Horizon), Storage systems, and cloud computing.
Problem Solving, capable of diagnosing complex issues and providing effective solutions. You should have a systematic approach to troubleshooting, the ability to analyze data and logs, and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure to minimize downtime and maintain system availability.
Security Mindset, you should be knowledgeable about security best practices, possess experience in implementing security measures, and be proactive in identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities across the infrastructure.
Adaptability and Continuous Learning.
Collaboration and Communication.

Experience & education:
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with banking or other strongly secured infrastructures
Minimum of 5 years working with infrastructure components.
Bachelor in Technology or IT, experience from IT operations and / or IT infrastructure.
Certification on relevant technologies
Knowledge of data privacy laws.
