In order to support our continued growth Lonza is seeking Bioprocess Engineers with a relevant background in Life Sciences and a passion for Biotechnology to join our talent community in Visp, Switzerland. Become part of this exciting opportunity and join our team by applying for the position as Bioprocess Engineer in Bio Conjugates Manufacturing for commercial Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADC’s) in Ibex park.
Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for entire processes or process units for commercial manufacturing projects in therapeutic Bio Conjugates like Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADC)
  
• Ensure that operational activities for commercial manufacturing of Bio Conjugates bulk drug substances products are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards (automation Delta V / MES)
  
• Responsible for conducting production campaigns in accordance with c GMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, troubleshooting problems, troubleshooting production equipment and proposing solutions.
  
• Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning in the assigned area
  
• Ensure timely and high quality preparation, creation, change, optimization and control of production documentation (EBR in MES automation system, SOPs, etc.) accordance to local procedures
  

Key requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production
  
• Knowledge of Antibody-Drug Conjugates
  
• Working experience in biomanufacturing would be an advantage
  
• GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology
  
• Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage
