We are seeking an experienced Bloomberg AIM SME / Consultant for a 6-month project at a leading Asset Manager based an hour from Zurich. The successful candidate will be working onsite 2 to 3 days per week, with the remainder of the time working remotely from home. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of AIM workflows, specifically focusing on middle-office functions. The candidate will temporarily replace operational team members and support the transition phase while new team members are being onboarded.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support on Bloomberg AIM workflows, with a focus on middle-office processes.
  • Act as a hands-on operational replacement for missing team members during the transition period.
  • Assist in the onboarding and aftercare of new operations team members.
  • Support the implementation of both ETD and bilateral OTC derivatives within the Bloomberg AIM environment.
  • Collaborate with local project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and project oversight.
  • Provide additional SME support if necessary, working closely with internal and external teams.
Key Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with Bloomberg AIM, particularly in middle-office workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) and Bilateral Over-the-Counter (OTC) derivatives.
  • Proven ability to provide hands-on support and replace operational doers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with transition management and onboarding of new team members.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexibility to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week in Switzerland, with remote work for the remaining days.

    Duration: 6-month contract
    Day Rate: £1000 - £1200 per day (travel expenses covered)
