Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business. The work model for the role is: #hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification – Distribution Solutions Division in Switzerland. Main stakeholders are local teams and their management and global / regional management. You will be mainly accountable for: • Performing analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposing improvement actions. • Executing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB; and working with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends. • Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit. • Supporting the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization. Qualifications for the role

• Have a demonstrated track record in Finance or Accounting related area (min bachelor’s degree) with min. of 3 years of experience in a multinational controlling department
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP), BW/BI and MS Office (especially excel and ppt), Power BI, Office 365
• You are at ease communicating in German with strong English skills, French skills a plus
• You are proactive and team oriented person
• Positive personality with a good team spirit
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to serve as business partner to local management team
