About Our Client
For our client, we are currently looking for a Middle Office Private Equity Specialist.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing and Monitoring:
Execute and monitor private equity transactions including capital calls, distributions, and fund investments.
Liaise with investment teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of transactions.
Maintain and update investment records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Portfolio Management:
Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio performance reports.
Coordinate with the front office to gather necessary information for ongoing portfolio analysis.
Ensure that portfolio data is accurately reflected in internal systems and external reports.

Valuation and Reconciliation:
Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate valuation of private equity holdings.
Conduct regular reconciliation of portfolios with fund administrators and custodians.
Review and validate financial statements and capital account balances from general partners.

Investor Relations Support:
Provide support to the investor relations team by preparing reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Manage communication with limited partners (LPs) regarding capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related activities.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of risk management processes specific to private equity investments.
Monitor and report on regulatory changes that could impact private equity operation

The Successful Applicant

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in middle office, fund administration, or private equity operations.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of private equity structures, transactions, and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
