Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.

The Finance Business Analyst is part of the Swiss Finance Hub team, who works with a complex international set‐up of over 30 of our affiliate legal entities managed and controlled in Switzerland. The legal entities span across all divisions and include areas ranging from IP (Intellectual Property) ownership, research & development, supply chain management, contract manufacturing, commercial sales operations, business alliance partnerships and capital allocation. The Finance Business Analyst will be working to support activities of the Swiss Finance Hub. This role can either be a full time position or 80% Fixed Term Employment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse critical financial accounts to substantiate the financial statement reporting.
  
• Coordinate audit processes for external and internal audit cycles.
  
• Maintain and enhance financial dashboards and reporting processes.
  
• Represent the Swiss Finance Hub for cross-team projects and workstreams.
  
• Support the development of the Hub’s digital and data capabilities.
  
• Assist the lead accountants for monthly, quarterly and year-end U.S. consolidated and Swiss statutory reporting.
  
• Manage the financial dashboards and databases to support financial analyses.
  
• Act as subject matter expert and Hub representative for global process changes and workstreams.
  
• Plan and implement Hub-level projects to increase digital usage and interaction.
  
• Lead quarterly financial reviews for commercial entities.
  
• Coordinate internal and external audits
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• A passion for Financial Analysis and working with data.
  
• Strong analytical mind to translate data into meaningful information for the business.
  
• Solution-oriented, analytical thinking and a good sense for complex situations.
  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power Platform (willing to learn), and Power Point.
  
• Tech savvy, with a strong interest in finance function-driven processes and the underlying IT systems, evaluation of IT architectures and data models.
  
• Fluent in English.
  
• Working level of Accounting and Finance knowledge.
  
• Clear and concise communication skills, verbal and written with the ability to communicate change.
  
• Proactive, dynamic, able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  
• Has a professional attitude and works well in a team, willingness to take on responsibility.
  
• Understanding of or experience in working at a multinational company.
