Job Description:
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer and Test Engineer with expertise in a Kubernetes environment and experience in developing mission-critical software. You will be part of a highly qualified team, responsible for the development and testing.
Main Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum events.
• Collaborate with end-users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
• Design, implement, and test Java backend services.
• Contribute to the industrialization process by applying Dev Ops concepts.
• Analyze defects/incidents to identify the root cause of problems.
• Draft and maintain technical documentation (software requirements specifications, detailed design, test cases, architecture documentation).
• Review source code to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Write automated test scripts for automated testing environments.
• Execute both manual and automated tests and report the results.
• Analyze and document issues/bugs in the incident database.
• Synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.
• Participate in formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Testing).

Profile:

• Strong experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot, JMS, etc.).
• Proficient in Continuous Integration platforms and Dev Ops concepts in a Java environment (Git Hub Actions, Maven, Git).
• At least 5 years of experience in backend software development and testing.
• Strong analytical skills, enabling you to understand the business aspects of existing applications.
• Expertise in Docker container management and Kubernetes deployment.
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (g RPC, protobuf, REST, JMS, etc.).
• Organized and able to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
• Proven experience in software testing and a strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Adaptable, autonomous, rigorous, and enjoys working in a team environment.
• Thrives on challenges and enjoys working in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
