• Enhancing medical / scientific communication between Viatris, therapeutic experts and researchers.
• Support of clinical and outcome research development
• Facilitating development and receipt of investigator-initiated research proposals in collaboration with TA-Medical advisor as needed
• Establishing scientific relationship with clinical and research leaders in their assigned region including, but not limited to academicians, clinicians, directors of pharmacy and other health care professionals
• Developing strong relationships with emerging healthcare professionals, existing Key Opinion Leaders and key academic institutions and researchers
• Providing information on new research directions, ideas, practices in patient care and identifying unmet medical need
• Collaboration with the respective Therapeutic Area Medical Advisor and Medical Lead to assist in the execution of Medical Affairs Brand Strategy in their respective geography of Switzerland and Liechtenstein
• Acting as a liaison between National and Regional Thought Leaders and Viatris to expand the local and regional Medical Affairs brand strategy
• Actively participating in Speaker Training, Advisory Boards, Round Table discussions, etc.

• Medical Degree, Degree in Pharmacy, or Master’s degree in Natural Sciences
• 3 years of natural-scientific/medical/pharmacist background
• 2-3 years of experience as Medical Scientific Liaison ideally in the field including experience in Hematology/ Thrombosis, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Oncology
• Ability to understand complex scientific content including biostatistics
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Excellent German and fluent English skills (written and oral) with good language skills in French
