Schedule:

• 3 days per week or flexible: 2 full days + 1 half-day

About the Family:
Family with two young children—a 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy—living in a warm and welcoming home in Brunnen. They also have a pet, so comfort around animals is important.
Position Requirements:

• Languages: Proficiency in English and German
• Experience: Prior experience with children of similar ages
• Preferred Traits: Patience, flexibility, creativity, reliability, and a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
As a nanny, your role will be to care for our children and assist with related household tasks. Key duties include:

• Childcare:
• Supervise and ensure the children’s safety, indoors and outdoors
• Meal prep and assistance with hygiene routines
• Engage in age-appropriate activities, games, and educational play
• Maintain nap schedules (1-hour daytime nap for one child)
• Household Responsibilities (related to children):
• Children’s laundry: Wash and fold
• Light cleaning: Tidy up play areas and common spaces
• Run occasional errands (e.g., picking up groceries)
• Organize outings and playdates
• Communication and Coordination:
• Provide updates on the children’s activities, meals, and behavior
• Follow family guidelines on routines, discipline, and set boundaries
• Address any conflicts between siblings and support behavioral development
• Health & Safety:
• Monitor health and administer medication if necessary
• Basic first aid knowledge is a plus

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility: Occasionally needed weekend or evening coverage and ask for flexibility with overtime or extra hours (with additional compensation as discussed).
• Confidentiality: A high level of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy is essential.

Job Types: 100%, Part-time
Pay: CHF30.00 - CHF35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
