Project and Facility Manager (m/f/d)

For our client, a leading international pharmaceutical company with modern offices in the canton of Lucerne, we are currently looking for a Project and Facility Manager (m/f/d) within the Global Workplace & Engineering Services department, to start immediately for the next 12 months. Depending on the performance and motivation, the possibility of an extension is given.
Job Description
The Project and Facility Manager (m/f/d) leads the implementation of facility management strategies, oversees project delivery, and drives sustainability and reliability initiatives, by carrying out the following task areas:
- Ensures compliance with our client's global engineering standards for GWES activities and assets.
- Main contact for engineering standards and local regulations, coordinating with Quality and Safety.
- Ensures projects comply with procurement policies and engineering standards.
- Manages project safety, finances, and execution, partnering with IFM provider.
- Handles project management processes and tracking.
- Oversees Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) using reliability tools.
- Collaborates on maintenance and energy management improvements.
- Leads workshops for preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
- Leads GENIUS program and manage sustainability projects.
- Drives energy efficiency and supports ESG goals.
- Assists clients with GWES priorities and projects.
- Promotes innovation and operational excellence.
- Represents GWES in compliance programs.
- Promotes safety, quality, and engineering standards compliance.
- Manages site safety and support compliance audits.
- Manages construction site safety for GWES project activities and support compliance audit programs.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must have:
- Successfully completed bachelor's and master's degree in engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, reliability engineering, and sustainability initiatives within a highly regulated industry.
- Solid English skills, as well as very good German skills (ideally B2 level)
- Experience in financial management, compliance, and safety management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications in project management, reliability engineering, or sustainability (e.g., PMP, CMRP, LEED) are a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and customer focus as a basis for action and innovation.
- A willingness to improve personal effectiveness and interpersonal skills.
