Your role and responsibilities

Are you looking for a challenge in which you take technical responsibility for system projects within the growing market of System Drives? This is your chance to help shape our business as a Project Lead Engineer in the area of Medium Voltage Drives. In this role, you will be a key player for the successful execution of client projects in such applications as metals, renewable energies, test stands and oil and gas, which generally involve the complete powertrains. Your range of duties will encompass the designing, engineering and tracking of all involved system components like transformers, converters, motor and auxiliaries. Experience in the field of Drives and Medium Voltage applications is an advantage for these versatile tasks. Are you a team player with an intrinsic attitude to promote innovation and improvement? The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Project execution of large MV drivetrain packages starting from order intake until delivery in different industrial applications • Engineering of hardware and software for medium-voltage drives and systems including preparation of the associated technical documentation (ECAD) • Managing and coordinating amongst customer and suppliers that the entire system, you are engineering, is fully compliant to the technical specifications of the contract • Coordinate or perform system analyses as part of customer projects such as network studies, HIL simulations etc. • Lead FAT’s and string tests for different subcomponents or systems • technical coordination of customer, sub-suppliers and own MV Drives- factory • Professional support of sales and product management • Technical support of the project manager during customer meetings • Selectively support or lead commissioning of MV drivetrain packages along our local field service teams, max 5 % travelling required • Contribute to internal improvement projects, applying Lean Six Sigma methods

Qualifications for the role

At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of MV drives applications
Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering (BSc or MSc) ) in Automatization Engineering, Drives Technology or similar
Commitment and pleasure in power electronics
Good communication skills (German and English) and social competence
Willingness to assume responsibility and flair for coordinative tasks in the technical environment
