Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including goals, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Team Coordination: Lead project teams, assign tasks, and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues as they arise.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and project objectives are achieved.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage project resources efficiently to meet project goals.
- Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, and communicate any adjustments to stakeholders.
- Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, including successful project delivery and team management.
- Experience in transport sector is a plus.
- Familiar with EC’s Horizon 2020 and Horizon European Research Programmes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage various types of projects.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages such as French, Arabic, Spanish, or Chinese considered a plus.
- Swiss, EU citizenship, or a valid permit to live and work in Switzerland.
