Six Peaks Bio is a Versant Ventures and Astra Zeneca funded biotechnology enterprise focused on advancing a portfolio of antibody-based compounds targeting obesity and associated co-morbidities. The company is a preclinical stage company with a pipeline of m Abs as well as m Ab-peptide conjugates entering IND preparing studies in the next few months. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be organized, resourceful, and collaborative, with a solid understanding of the entire drug development lifecycle, from early research through to regulatory submissions. Ideally, the candidate will be based in Basel, Switzerland. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the R&D Project Manager will be responsible for managing research, preclinical development, and IND-enabling projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with matrixed R&D teams to convert strategic objectives into operational project plans and deliver on scientific goals and corporate timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the coordination and management of 1-2 projects, collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams to ensure successful execution and timely delivery of project objectives.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including budgets and timelines, to ensure successful completion of deliverables across the drug development lifecycle.
Proactively identify and address gaps and bottlenecks, working with R&D teams on risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Facilitate program-related decision-making processes, fostering effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders.
Partner with stakeholders to support CRO interactions and external studies, building strong working relationships to ensure project success.
Communicate project plans and progress to leadership through various means, including presentations, budgets, Gantt charts, and other project management tools.
Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring they align with project objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
Lead project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, document action items, and organize and manage project data.
Contribute to the development of process improvement frameworks, including SOPs, in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong scientific background with extensive experience in discovery-stage research and early development activities.
B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, or other life sciences; advanced science degree preferred. Alternatively, a business administration degree with proven experience in pharma/biotech drug development.
5+ years of industry experience in Pharma or Biotech, including at least 2-3 years in relevant R&D project management roles.
Proficiency in managing projects through all phases of the drug development lifecycle, with experience in cross-functional team leadership and CRO collaborations.
Strong technical, analytical, and decision-making skills with proficiency in project management tools.
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, as well as information management abilities.
Proven ability to collaborate and influence others in a productive team environment.
Experience in IND-enabling studies and IND filing is advantageous.
