To be responsible for maintaining global supply and demand across multiple renewable products and agricultural commodities: including building and updating supply and demand models, providing value-add market insights to the trading team.

• Detailed knowledge of the European biofuels market
• Prior experience in a similar role min 3 years, ideally within the agricultural trading industry
• Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills, with an emphasis on providing proactive insights that have tradeable value.
• Strong interest for biofuels and oilseeds markets.
• Knowledge of the grains markets will be a plus
• Experience using trade data, data visualization tools and statistical data modeling software.
• Coding skills (Python, SQL, VBA) will be a plus
• Ability to work independently and proactively to deliver timely results.
• Flexible and proactive individual with the ability to integrate seamlessly into diverse cultural environments.
• Fluency in English. The role is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
• Fluency in another foreign language a plus.

• Maintaining global Sn Ds across multiple renewable products and agricultural commodities :
  i. Biofuels (FAME, Ethanol, HVO, SAF, bio-components)
  ii. Bio feedstocks
  iii. Main agricultural commodities directly impacting biofuels Sn Ds (vegetable oils, oilseeds, grains)
  iii.a.Conduct analysis of Global SBO, RSO, Palm oil and SFO flows & demand
  iii.b.Conduct analysis of Global rapeseeds, soybeans and sunflower seeds

• Modelling and tracking the impact of European and US biofuels legislation on demand.
• Work closely with the biofuels team to align on trading strategies
• Develop in-house intelligence around major sustainability developments impacting demand
• Follow market developments on marine and jet demand for biofuels and evaluate demand impact on the global biofuels Sn D
• Provide long-term analytics for renewable fuels trends out to 2030
• Support the trading team with ad-hoc analysis when required
• Support M&A decisions

• Strong data processing and analysis skills.
• Strong intrinsic interest in biofuels markets, geopolitical developments and a sound understanding of economic theory and cycles.
• Strong communication skills (written & oral) to articulate complex concepts and express coherent insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
