Research and Teaching Associate in Strategic Management (m/f/o)

100 % (limited for four years)

Your tasks

The Institute of Management & Strategy at the University of St.Gallen, Chair of Professor Ambos seeks to hire a Research and Teaching Associate in Strategic Management.

Our offering:

Ability to pursue a doctorate in business administration while working at the chair
Challenging research according to international standards in strategic management (especially focusing on Global and Corporate Strategy, including topics like international market expansion, cross-border operations and management, and organizational resilience)
Writing of scientific publications and participation in international conferences
Support in teaching at Bachelor, Master, and Ph D level (assistance in courses; supervision of Bachelor/Master theses)
Collaboration in company cooperations and research consortia

Your profile

Requirement:

Completed university studies with honors in management or a related field
Interest in scientific working methods; if possible, first experience (e.g. in a master thesis)
Knowledge of statistics (focus: quantitative research methods)
Very good knowledge of German and English (Level C1 or higher), oral and written
