Job Description

Sanctions Management: Act as the Group referent for all sanctions topics, ensuring compliance with international sanctions (UN, EU, SECO);
Monitoring and Control: a sanctions monitoring program, conduct reviews, and implement controls;
Analysis and Assessment: Analyze transactions and business relationships to identify and mitigate sanctions risks;
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs on sanctions compliance;
Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities; act as the primary contact for sanctions inquiries;
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with legal, risk management, and other departments to ensure a consistent approach;
Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about regulatory developments and adapt policies accordingly;
Other ad-hoc responsibilities in compliance area;
Participation of the day to day in the office.

The Successful Applicant

Academic background or Compliance background;
Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in private banking and sanctions compliance. Proven success in a similar role within a Swiss bank ;
Good knowledge of MS Office and banking programs ;
Excellent language skills in French and in English ;
Proactive and results-oriented team player;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
Diplomatic and pedagogical approach, able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
Swiss residence mandatory.
