Job Description
As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the administration and optimization of Azure Cloud services and VMWare environments.
- Managing on-premises infrastructure including both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Ensuring system security and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Collaborating with IT teams to design and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
- Leading projects to upgrade and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Providing technical guidance and support to other IT staff and end-users.
The Successful Applicant
- Must be a Swiss resident.
- Fluent in both French and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Possesses substantial experience (minimum 5 years) in system engineering, specifically within the banking sector.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge in managing Azure Cloud environments and VMWare.
- Proficient in maintaining and configuring both Windows and Linux based systems.
- Exhibits strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
