To cover for a long-term absence, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Leader who will support a number of business units including Operations, IDT (Integrated Dental Technologies) and many of our Corporate Functions including HR and Finance. You would act as the guardian of the culture, diversity, skills and capabilities of the people being brought into our Headquarters site in Basel and influence hiring globally across your business units.


You would consult directly with Executive Members of the Board supporting active hiring and pipelining for future capability needs, partnering closely with Global / Regional HR Leadership team members to define hiring needs and design proactive talent sourcing initiatives to meet business growth objectives. You will be hands on in direct sourcing, conversion of prospects into Executive candidates, maintaining relationships through the recruitment process, assessing and interviewing candidates and guiding the business to make the correct hiring decisions. You would work closely with our team of TA Partners in Madrid to support sourcing and candidate management, performing market intelligence and managing relationships with Executive Search Firms.


You will be an interim member of the Global “Join Leadership team” at a time when the Global Talent Acquisition organization is going through transformation. Investments are being made into a new global hiring model, new global hiring process, new social media strategy, CRM and other new technologies. You would be a “flag bearer” of the transformation – involved in a range of projects, process mapping, model adoption, compliance, re-mapping roles and responsibilities, encouraging new TA service deliverables (pipelining, direct sourcing, employer branding), hiring manager training, brand ambassadorship, etc.

The role is based in our Basel headquarters. The role requires being in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week to ensure strong collaboration and relationship management with our executive stakeholders.

• Understand external talent demographics and tell stories / develop targeted marketing tactics describing our purpose, growth opportunities and impact on the world. Encouraging leaders and employees to be brand ambassadors in video, web and social.
• Be a champion of diversity and inclusion, coaching managers to think broadly about “who” and “how” they hire understanding the value of diverse teams and mindsets.
• Act as a pioneer leveraging the best of internal practices but also challenging the status quo and offering new solutions, challenging the business to step outside the norm. Support the Talent Acquisition team to develop the capacity and capability to move the team from recruitment administration to talent acquisition excellence.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills to support the team deliver their day to day objectives whilst also carving out time for higher value project work.
• Confidence with recruitment technology (ATS, CRM, internal talent data, etc) to support new tech implementation.
• Understanding KPIs and data to support analysis of hiring process efficiency and team performance.

What You’ll Need To Succeed …

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
• 7 years or more in Talent Acquisition (mix of agency and corporate experience preferred) with exposure to full lifecycle recruitment.
• Experience in Executive / Management hiring with a track record of direct sourcing. Commercial and manufacturing hiring experience preferred (in both volume and niche roles).
• Experience in people management / leading others. Using data-driven insights to measure performance and manage req loads, providing continuous improvement recommendations.
• Interviewing, assessment and selection champion. Coaching leaders and HR professionals about how to select talent for “need now”, growth and future capabilities.
• High proficiency in integrated recruitment systems (ATS & CRM). We use SAP Success Factors and Phenom People, experience in these platforms is a “nice to have”.
• Expertise in Agency / Search Firm supplier management and terms negotiation.
