Job Description:
We are looking for someone willing to help our team during busy periods like festivals, private events, vacations, and busy days at the restaurant. You could be a perfect fit if you have a flexible life schedule and are open to being an "on-call" person, who could be available on a short 1-2 days notice.
As a Waitress/Waiter at SMOK'ED, you'll be an essential part of creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests with a warm welcome and guiding them through our menu
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests are noted
- Serving food and beverages promptly and with attention to detail
- Anticipating guests' needs and providing attentive service throughout their meal
- Handling payments and ensuring accurate billing
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential - we're willing to train the right candidate!
- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Fluency in English; and French
