Project description
We are assisting one of our large clients in finding an experienced Finance Treasury Specialist to support the regional treasury lead in managing treasury activities for the separation and establishment of a New Co. This is a mid-level role for someone with treasury expertise who is ready to contribute to a major project in the region. The role is based in Taiwan, and the candidate will be required to work onsite at the local office in Taipei for three days per week, with a start date by mid-October.

Key responsibilities
- Treasury Support: Provide comprehensive treasury assistance to the regional treasury lead, ensuring smooth and effective management of all treasury-related activities.
- New Co Support: Assist in all activities required to separate and establish new companies (New Co’s), supporting the transition and setup of independent treasury functions.
- Cash Management: Oversee daily cash management tasks, ensuring accurate forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relations.
- Risk Management: Support the identification and mitigation of financial risks during the separation process, including currency exposure, liquidity, and funding.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed treasury reports, highlighting key metrics and progress related to the New Co separation activities.
- Experience: Mid-level experience in treasury roles, with proven ability to handle complex treasury operations.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity, and risk management.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and tools.
- Ability to work independently and support senior leaders in executing treasury strategies.
- Location: Based in Taiwan, with the ability to work onsite in Taipei for at least three days per week.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential, Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Contract Duration: 6-9 months, with the potential for extension depending on project requirements.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid model, with 3 days per week onsite in Taipei.
