Lab Infrastructure Engineer

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:


Lab Infrastructure Engineer is responsible to ensures that the labs, environment, and Shared Lab are robust, secure, and capable of supporting the organization's testing and development activities effectively.

This role encompasses a wide range of activities focused on planning, managing the infrastructure that supports server design. Ensure that the lab infra is scalable, reliable, and efficient, meeting the needs of various projects and teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the overall lab infrastructure
• Develop software programs to support lab management
• Lab Capacity, Security, implementation, and maintenance
• Audit Lab space, and making utilization as optimized as

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to lab infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, operations, and security, to ensure the lab infrastructure meets the needs
• Ensure network connectivity is stable and secure
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities within the lab infrastructure
• Develop and implement an incident response plan to address security breaches and other incidents effectively

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 2-4 years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Using software systems design tools and languages.
• Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
• Designing software systems running on multiple platform types.
• Software systems testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
