Your tasks

• Responsible for RF component applications.
• Perform technical support for general-purpose RF instruments for the customers.
• Partner with Sales as a technical owner for pre-sales activities, e.g. demonstrates product capability and performance.
• Online/On-site customer support, e.g. including presentation, demonstration, training, and application cases.
• Building a long-term, trustworthy relationship with customers as technical experts.
• Develop strong links with R&S HQ.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or comparable field of studies.
• Customer-centric and people-facing personality with a strong curiosity to learn new topics.
• Experience in instrument operations, e.g. Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, and Oscilloscope.
• RF system-related experience and microwave engineering knowledge.
• Willing to travel to customers sites (50% of time).
• Active/Passive RF components, high-speed cable/connectors experience is a major plus.
• Presentation experiences for online/physical technical seminars is a plus.
• Communication system experience (baseband + RF) is a plus.
• Familiar with Instrument control and SCPI via software platforms, like C/C++/C#, Python, Matlab, or Lab VIEW is a plus.
