What We Offer
Major tasks and responsibilities:

Explore potential new business for PCS (Polycarbonates) Taiwan.
-
Provide technical services with cost effective approach such as technical training and seminar on material selection, product introduction, processes and new technology to external customers and distributors to grow PCS sales.
-
Get PCS materials specified and customer approval by keeping close contact with technical as well as commercial decision makers.
-
Provide assistance to our customers during production start-up phases and also solve customers’ problem onsite if necessary.
-
Support Product/Application Development for our customers on new and existing projects.
-
Coordinate the necessary technical support for Taiwanese transplant business.
-
Complaint handling (material complaint) with customers, QES&C APAC and QA of all manufacturing sites such as on-site investigation, sample collecting, problem solving etc...

Areas to support: Notebook computer, network device, LED, Electrical.

Growth for Covestro PCS Taiwan through the market-oriented development.

Manage business opportunities and support the ambitious Budget-plans for PCS .

Develop and/or follow up on new projects for PCS Taiwan and Taiwan transplants in China.

Get PCS materials specified and approved.

Technical service for the PCS Taiwan and Taiwan transplants in China.

Providing technical expertise in the fastest growing Taiwan and China region to sustain the current business of PCS.

Technical Service for PCS product with function on complaint handling, trouble shooting, application development and technical sales assistance for customers.

Bring market and customer requirements to Innovation Division and Global Operations.

Close communication with BD-APAC to ensure the long-term prospective of customer-demand.

To shape the image of Covestro in Asia Pacific
-
Participating in trade fairs to represent BMS and to drive the image of BMS.
-
Lateral guidance of KAM/sales members with expert know-how.
-
Managing relationship with customers, especially technical decision makers.

What You Offer
Qualifications:
1. University or college graduates in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
2. Fluent in writing and speaking of English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.
3. 3 years’ working experiences in plastics or related industry.
4. Good knowledge in injection-molding process, CAE simulation, tooling & related secondary processing.
5. Familiar with plastics testing criteria, agency approval knowledge (such as UL, ISO etc...).
6. Good product knowledge for ITA, IM & EXT application such as material evaluation, comparison and selection.
7. Good skills of communication, coordination, planning and a good team player.
8. Good command in projects management.
9. Good command of computer software skills such as POWERPOINT, EXCEL, WORD etc...
