Job Description
- Managing CMs /Foundry Engineering and Quality on back-end process and assembly
- Lead and oversee entire spectrum of Engineering and Quality of critical products.
- Supporting reliability testing related activities
- Evaluating and bringing up new CMs/Foundry, managing the qualification journey from product design and production readiness to comprehensive system validation, ensuring suppliers meeting Lumentum’s requirements.
- Coordinating issue resolution with cross functional teams across Supplier, CMs/Foundry, Internal engineering teams and Customers.
- Performing periodical QMS and process audit, product surveillance audit and timely issue-solving audit to CMs/Foundry.
- Managing Quality KPIs
- Supporting NPI project activities
- Driving Kaizen and continue improvement in CMs/Foundry
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Min 5 years of experience in a Technical Engineering/Quality Engineering role for a Technology/High Tech Company
- Experience managing and working with Semiconductor Assembly/Testing Contract Manufacturing
- Experience in driving initiatives such as ISO 9001, IATF16949 (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA), LEAN, Six sigma, 5S, and TQM.
- Excellent computer and data mining skills with a strong background in SPC control methods (JMP a plus)
- Well-developed teamwork and collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to operate independently, make strategic decisions, and influence cross-functional teams and external partners toward achieving quality objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive Quality Engineer and auditor certification, along with six sigma black belt certification is a plus.
- Experience in managing Quality System in large scale company.
- Effective and efficient critical thinking skills with the ability to multi-task
- Be able to travel both domestic and international.
