• Responsible for accomplishing orders across different asset classes including equities, ETF, bonds, futures, options, funds, foreign exchange, IPOs, term deposits, repurchase agreements, and cash management activities
• Familiar with and execute the securities lending-related process
• Must monitor orders in the markets and work with fellow traders on any of the fund managers special instructions
• Provide market information and quotations and offer feedback to portfolio managers.
• Use Bloomberg AIM (The Asset and Investment Manager) and must know main functionality
• Conduct End of Day checking of execution reports to ensure correctness and explain any discrepancies
• Monitor the post-trade execution TCA report daily
• Help compile daily market news for the morning meeting
• Must work with manager and respond in a timely manner to compliance enquiries
• Resolve settlement issues; work as bridge between brokers & settlements on daily trades and on specific paperwork required for trading
• Coordinate the placement of overseas equities and bonds via the central trading platform, maintaining clear and effective communication with fund managers and overseas traders
• Conduct quarterly evaluations of domestic equity brokers to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Question current workflows, look for better ways of doing our job, and stay up to date on the most advanced trading technologies

• Attain SFI Licensed Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Professionals
• Over 5 years’ professional experience in securities trading
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields preferred
• Knowledge and proficiency in Bloomberg Trading functions AIM, EMSX
• Programming language skills such as Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) SQL, Excel VBA, and SAP Business Object reporting software & database management is a plus
• Experience middle or back-office roles on buy or sell side helpful in understanding the full life cycle of trade executions
• Experience in handling projects, corporate actions, settlement, funds accounting experience an advantage
• Ethical & thoughtful work habits with a desire to understand different regulatory environments
• Organized working style with self-learning skills
• Be a great teammate, reliable, exhibit and have willingness to take ownership
• English fluency is required
