Assistant Vice President, Sustainability TH

Responsibilities:

Governance Framework Development:
- Implement comprehensive corporate sustainability governance framework.
- Ensure alignment with global sustainability standards and best practices.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to sustainability.

Board and Committee Governance:
- Provide governance support to the Board of Directors and its sub-committees, including the Audit Committee, Nomination, Remuneration, and Corporate Governance Committee, and Board Risk and Compliance Committee.
- Prepare and present sustainability performance reports to the Board and management committees.
- Facilitate sustainability-related training and development programs for Board members and senior management.

Performance Management:
- Develop and manage sustainability performance metrics and KPIs for all business divisions.
- Monitor and report on the bank’s sustainability performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with sustainability goals.

Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and manage sustainability-related risks.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure their integration into the bank’s overall risk management framework.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to enhance the bank’s resilience to sustainability risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and standards.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay updated on changes in sustainability requirements.
- Prepare and submit required sustainability reports and disclosures.

Sustainability Ratings and Improvement:
- Monitor and improve the bank’s sustainability ratings.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance the bank’s performance in key sustainability and governance ratings such as the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies (CGR), the Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI), and the ESG100 by Thaipat Institute.
- Work with relevant departments to gather data, improve practices, and submit information required for sustainability assessments and ratings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Climate Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification in sustainability is preferred..
- Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability, corporate governance, risk management, or related fields.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability frameworks in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex sustainability issues to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting tools.
