Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and culturally immersed Hotel Manager to oversee operations at our ultra luxury hotel in Bangkok, blending the rich traditions of Thai culture with modern, evolving guest experiences. This role requires an innovative approach to hospitality, where the evolving needs of guests are met through a seamless blend of time-honored traditions and modern experiences, with a focus on deep cultural connection. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for all aspects of hotel management including operations, guest relations, team leadership, and strategic business development, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
Job Description
- Hands-on Leader overseeing and directing Food and Beverage, Rooms Division, Wellness, Engineering, Security.
- This role is highly visible in the operations daily providing direction and monitoring the “guest experience”. This position “owns” all operational aspects of the hotel while working with peers on the executive committee and provides coverage in the absence of the Managing Director.
- Local Partnerships & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local vendors, artisans, and cultural institutions to enhance guest offerings, from local excursions to on-site cultural events.
- Assist in establishing and creating goals and strategies for both the operational and financial success of the hotel.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining hotel standards to achieve and maintain the “Ultra Luxury" status.
- The Hotel Manager will also cultivate and lead a team of Quality Ambassadors who are not only responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences but also for maintaining operational excellence through regular audits.
- As a member of the executive team, work closely with other team members in achieving the hotel’s goals and objectives.
- Interface with corporate officers in the execution of corporate goals.
- Establish annual objectives for Executives and Department Heads reporting to him or her.
- Ensure that goals and objectives of talent and culture management are met through supporting the hotel philosophy concerning but not limited to, hiring, employee relations, disciplinary action.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Responsible for employee compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Initiate disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Serve as Manager on Duty.
- Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, associates and community members.
- Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner to resolve all guest and associates’ difficulties.
- Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of unstandardized intellectual and practical problems to perform and direct many varied and complex tasks.
- Creative Vision: A passion for evolving traditional experiences and crafting new stories that resonate with modern travelers while honoring Thai heritage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in a sizeable luxury hotel with at least 3 years in similar capacity
- Excellent written and verbal English is a must, additional language will be an advantage
- Proven ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
- Highly organized and professional with exceptional customer service and presentation skills
