Materials Management Specialist (Procurement)

- artner with departments to develop procurement plans and strategies under the direction of the Area Procurement manager for Thailand or other countries assigned S
- ource, vet, and select vendors of services and products as requested by different Church departments M
- anage purchases and supplier relations in the assigned countries. Support contract negotiation with vendors and manage contract life cycle in Church’s contracting system H
- andle disposal of used equipment and products in compliance with local legislation A
- nalyse data, prepare reports, and presentations to provide recommendations to meet the needs of partnering departments, leaders, and members in a timely and professional manner S
- upport ad hoc assignments given by the Area Procurement manager when needed
- achelor’s degree holder in business or related discipline and with at least 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience E
- xcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai D
- emonstrated experience in providing and leading improvements in customer services P
- ossess strong business sense, organizational and negotiation skills A
- bility to work effectively with a team by establishing and cultivating trusted and respectful relationships G
- ood data analysis, research, and computer skills P
- roficient with Microsoft Office and other common computer software D
- river license holder preferable A ble to travel as required (mostly within Asia)
