Job Description:

• Prepare and bake a range of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Decorate pastries and desserts to enhance their visual appeal.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team.

Requirements:

• Not have been in J1 status within the US for the past 2 years (to enable J1 visa eligibility).
• Age range in late 20-40, with sufficient experience to contribute positively without being overqualified for an entry-level visa.
• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Proficient in conversational English (essential for successfully navigating the consular interview and excelling in the job role).
• Knowledge of pastry techniques and creative flair.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent time management skills.
