  • Manage DHL Retail customers (CASH) by telephone within the Direct Sales Segment. Be responsible for the revenue retention and development for the portfolio through the sales tactics of Up-Selling and Cross Selling related DHL services and products and for new business development under cash and retail channel.
      • Quantify and qualify a sales lead utilizing globally agreed selection criteria of Retail channel.
      • Coordinate and manage lead from customer service and ensure appropriate follow up.
      • Manage lead from all Retail lead sources and ensure appropriate follow up.
      • Manage a portfolio of customers via telephone or direct mail: Make telephone calls to repeat customers on a regular pre-defined call cycle to secure new business and to ensure that individual agreed targets are achieved.
      • Complete activity reports to measure individual/channel effectiveness.
      • Ensure co-operation with other members of the sales team and throughout the sales force.
      • Provide customer-oriented service at all times relating to specific sales issues for retail customers.
      • Act as main contact for DHL of retail customer, responding and satisfying their sales and post-sales requirements.
      • Maintain awareness of competitor activity and recommend tactics to counter any emerging threats by competitors on both an Area and Local level.
      • Liaise with other department to resolve any customer issues that may arise.
      • Continually develop knowledge of DHL’s services and general commercial awareness in order to provide the best possible standard of customer service and maximize the department’s contribution to the sales function.
      • Undertake any projects/duties as assigned by the Retail Manager or Sales Manager Direct Sales.
    • Bachelor’s degree in any field
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of sales, telephone sales, retail sales and marketing.
    • Experience in frontline customer service will be beneficial.
    • Sales orientation. Experience in sales/sales processes.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the retail trade from a service and sales perspective.
    • Strong English comprehension and communication skills are essential.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and entrepreneur mindset.
    • Strong business acumen and analytical skills – Complex problem-solving skills.
    • Strong personality with the ability to handle stress and various tasks at the same time.
