• Provide visionary leadership to coordinate and support academic activities, including teaching, research, and outreach.

• Develop a plan to continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning quality, along with policies and procedures that uphold AIT's academic standards, aiming for continuous improvement in alignment with the institute’s strategic direction.

• Develop a fair faculty recruitment process and performance assessment system for professional growth and employment decisions such as renewal, promotion and salary adjustment.

• Formulate and implement student recruitment and enrollment management systems to ensure the quality of incoming students and the robustness of the tuition revenue stream.

• Oversee the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for admission management and scholarship initiatives, and ensure the overall efficiency of OSA operations, including student welfare.

• Identify research priorities aligned with AIT's focus areas, emphasizing research activities in cutting-edge technologies relevant to regional needs.

• Develop mechanisms to enhance the Institute's research innovation capacity, including identifying and obtaining external and internal funding for research.

• Facilitate working relationships among various constituents on campus which promote quality research, and create new programs and research aligned with AIT's business goals.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and ensure ethical conduct in research.
