Documentary Videographer – Muay Thai Fighter in Phuket

Project Overview:
We are seeking a skilled videographer/documentary filmmaker to follow an American Muay Thai fighter training and competing in Phuket, Thailand. The role involves capturing the fighter's daily training routines, fight preparations, and live bouts to create a compelling documentary about the fighter’s journey, challenges, and experiences in the world of Muay Thai.
Key Responsibilities:

• Filming: Follow the fighter’s training sessions, sparring, fights, and daily activities to document the journey authentically.
• Editing (optional): Assist in editing the footage to create short clips, teasers, or a full-length documentary.
• Story Development: Help develop the documentary's narrative by identifying key moments and themes during filming.
• Travel Coordination: Join the fighter at various gyms, training camps, and fight venues throughout Phuket.
• Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain camera and audio equipment, ensuring high-quality footage.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in documentary filmmaking or videography, especially in sports or action-related content.
• Skills:
• Ability to capture dynamic action and tell a compelling story through film.
• Editing skills (optional, depending on role requirements).
• Familiarity with sports filming techniques and challenges.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to keep up with the fighter’s schedule, including long days and travel to different training locations.
• Availability: Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on the fighter's schedule.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Muay Thai or combat sports.
• Previous experience working on sports documentaries or filming in an international setting.
• Fluent in English (additional languages, such as Thai, are a plus).

Compensation:

• Competitive daily or project-based rate (to be discussed).
• Travel expenses and accommodations in Phuket will be covered.
• Opportunity for credits in the documentary and a possible share in distribution profits.

Pay: ฿33,000.00 - ฿50,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 20 per week
