Experienced Test Automation Engineer - SW Licensing/WSEC (TR)

You will be responsible as a Experienced Test Automation Engineer for building, testing, and maintaining test automation tool “the Orbit” for Airties Edge Data Verification process performed by Wi-Fi Systems Engineering & Certifications Team.
Location: Izmir & İstanbul, Turkey
What you will do:

Design, develop and test code per the Orbit Edge Data verification test automation tool in Wi-Fi Systems Eng & Certifications Team
Learn existing and new-coming Airties products (both platform and licensing) and development environments.
Provide technical support and maintenance for Orbit for the upcoming products to merge them into the testbed.
Prepare and program test software designs.
Produce test software documents, user guides for the Orbit per each release.
Work with the test engineers when creating new test cases in the test plans and provide technical support in terms of automatability of those cases.
Conduct tests manually for the first time before automating those, work with test and systems engineers’ side by side.
Oversee service requirements for established automation program.
Integrate new Airties Easy Mesh related features to Orbit automation system after the test cases created.
Make improvements to the code with the intention of increasing quality, time, and resource efficiency.
Support OEMs (vendors, integrators) as customers which have installed and/or use Orbit in their premises.
Provide on-site support for the customers for the installation process of Orbit if necessary. This shall require travelling.
Problem solving & bug fixing.

What you should ideally bring:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of Engineering
3+ years of experience on developing software
Fluent in spoken and written English
Intermediate/advanced level of experience in Python programming language and object-oriented programming (OOP)
At least introductory level of computer networking knowledge
Domain knowledge (broadband, routing/gateway applications) preferred.
Hands-on experience with Python libs like pyshark, scapy , os, serial, http, requests
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Linux and scripting languages
Comfortable with Docker
Strong strategic problem solving and analytical skills.
