Short description: The Application Engineer will be responsible for stationary and portable CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) software training and support to our customers all over Turkey, especially in Istanbul and neighboring cities. This field role involves around 30% travel within the proposed area.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide trainings to our customers onsite and remote (software metrology)
• Provide user training and demonstrations for stationary and portable CMMs
• Ensure all customer questions are answered, and problems are solved
• Create training materials and documents
• Provide measurement service (PC-DMIS, QUINDOS etc.)
• Support the sales department upon request

Qualifications

Necessary:

• Completed degree in engineering (mechanical or similar field of study)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an application or service engineer (or related)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawing
• Ability to travel nationally (30%)
• Fluency in Turkish and minimum B2 in English (technical documents and participate in trainings)
• Valid driver's licence

Desired:

• Experience in metrology (CMM programmer or similar software products)
• Knowledge of PC-DMIS or other metrology software (Quindos, Geomagic, Polyworks etc.)
• Knowledge of metrological systems and CAD/CAM programming
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
